The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in locating a person of interest sought for questioning in a homicide investigation.
On January 29, 2023, at about 4:03 p.m., a 14-year-old male was shot and killed in the 5300 block of Chef Menteur Highway.
Through investigation, detectives identified Malcolm Wiley, black male DOB: 7-22-2000, as a person of interest in this investigation.
Wiley is NOT wanted for this homicide, but is being sought by detectives as it's believed he may have information pertinent to the investigation.
