NOPD Seeking Person of Interest in First District Shooting Investigation

NOPD Seeking Person of Interest in First District Shooting Investigation

The NOPD continues to investigate a shooting that occurred on November 14, 2023, in the 1400 block of North Claiborne Avenue. Detectives are seeking a person of interest for questioning in this investigation.

Through investigation, NOPD First District detectives have developed and positively identified Juma Hill (pictured, black male, DOB: 02-03-1977) as a person of interest in this case. Hill is not currently wanted on criminal charges. However, detectives feel he may have knowledge of information vital to the investigation and wish to interview Hill.
