NOPD Seeking Battery Suspect

The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with a battery that occurred in the 6400 block of General Meyer Avenue.

On January 4, 2024, around 7:00 p.m., Madrid Dove (pictured, DOB: 7/7/1996) was reportedly in a verbal dispute with the two victims. As the argument escalated, Dove allegedly sprayed the victims with pepper spray.

An unknown male subject then reportedly pointed a handgun at the victims. Dove fled the location in either a dark-colored Infiniti SUV or a gray-colored Jeep SUV.

It is believed Dove has information that could lead to the identity of the subject who allegedly assaulted the victims with the firearm.

When located, Dove shall be charged with two counts of Simple Battery.

If anyone has additional information regarding this incident, call Fourth District detectives at (504) 658-6045 or Crimestoppers anonymously at (504) 822-1111.
