NOPD Searching for Person of Interest in Homicide Investigation

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating a person of interest sought for questioning in the ongoing investigation of a homicide on November 14, 2021 in the 6000 block of Chef Menteur Highway.

Through investigation, NOPD Homicide Unit detectives have developed Donnell James (pictured, black male, DOB: 01-05-1986) as a person of interest. James is not currently wanted on criminal charges in this investigation. However, detectives feel he has knowledge of information vital to the investigation and wish to question him.
