Suspect Wanted for Simple Robbery on Saint Ann Street

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating the pictured subject after his alleged involvement in a simple robbery incident that occurred in the Eighth District.

The incident reportedly occurred around 6:17 a.m. on Friday, January 10, 2020. The victim was walking in the 800 block of Saint Ann Street when the subject approached the victim from the rear and engaged in a brief conversation.

The subject demanded the victim’s property and a physical altercation ensued between the two. The subject then took possession of the victim’s property and fled on foot down St. Ann Street towards North Rampart Street. The victim attempted to catch the subject, but was unsuccessful.

The perpetrator is described as a medium build black male attired in a white shirt and jeans.
