NOPD Searches for Eighth District Simple Robbery Suspects

The NOPD is seeking information to aid in the location and identification of two suspects in the investigation of a simple robbery that occurred on January 1, 2020.

At or about 2:11 a.m., as the victim and her brother walked in the 300 block of Burgundy Street, they were reportedly approached from behind by the pictured subjects. One of the perpetrators allegedly took the victim’s cellphone from the victim’s hand and fled the area on foot with the second subject. As both subjects fled, the victim and her brother reportedly gave chase. The victim’s brother was then punched in the face and knocked to the ground by one of the suspects and, while the victim was on the ground, one of the subjects took his cellphone from his person and fled.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact NOPD Eighth District detectives at 504-658-6080, or call anonymously to Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free 1-877-903-STOP.
