Suspects Wanted for Simple Burglary on Mandeville Street

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating two subjects who are wanted in connection with a Fifth District simple burglary incident.

The victim told police that around 12 p.m. on January 10, 2019, she discovered that her unoccupied residence located in the 1800 block of Mandeville Street was burglarized.

Upon further investigation, officers reviewed surveillance video footage from this incident and observed a blue Ford F150 pickup truck back into the victim’s driveway. Two unknown male subjects were reportedly seen entering the house and removing several items from inside the victim’s residence. The subjects were then observed fleeing the location in possession of the stolen items.

One of the subjects is described as a black male, wearing a red hoodie, a black knit hat, blue jeans and gloves. The second subject is described as a heavy set black male, wearing a blue hoodie, blue jeans and blue tennis shoes.

Anyone with any information regarding the pictured subjects’ identity or whereabouts should notify Fifth District detectives at 504-658-6050. Citizens with information that can help solve crimes are asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
