NOPD Identifies Suspect in Domestic Aggravated Assault Incident

NOPD officers are searching for Darren Tillery (DOB: 03-08-1994) after he was accused of domestic aggravated assault in the Seventh District.

On January 15, 2019, around 10:45 a.m. the subject reportedly produced a large pocket knife and began stabbing the victim’s rear seat prior to threatening to stab the victim. An alleged argument ensued between the victim and the subject and the subject reportedly struck the victim to the right side of her face. The victim informed the subject that she would call the police, at which time the subject moved away from the victim and reportedly kicked her front bumper, causing damage to the vehicle, before fleeing the scene.

Seventh District detectives obtained a warrant for the subject for domestic aggravated assault and simple criminal damage to property.

The pictured subject has shaved his hair since the above photograph was taken.
