The NOPD is searching for Jonas Laurant (DOB:11/30/81) after he was observed on surveillance video removing an iPad from a business.
The incident happened on November 12, 2017. At approximately 4:30 p.m., an unknown black male - later identified as Jonas Laurant - was observed on video surveillance entering a restaurant in the 300 block of Royal Street. Prior to leaving the location, he removed an Apple iPad from a hostess desk.
The iPad can be seen in the photo above and is described as being black in color with a red handle.
