Suspect Wanted for Simple Battery of a Juvenile

The NOPD is searching for Carmenetta Brown (DOB: 01-25-82) regarding a simple battery incident on a juvenile.

The incident happened on December 12, 2017. At about 4:53 p.m., a 12- year- old victim was waiting at a bus stop, located in the 5300 block of Michoud Boulevard. The victim told police he then saw the wanted subject run up to him. Brown then reportedly punched the juvenile victim in the face near his left eye with a closed fist. The victim called his mother while the wanted subject continued to taunt him.

The Seventh District school resource officer conducted a follow up investigation and was able to identify the below pictured subject as the perpetrator in the incident.
