Suspect Arrested for Aggravated Arson & Criminal Damage on Crowder Boulevard

Officers in the Seventh District arrested Bobby Bosley (DOB: 12-12-71) for aggravated arson and aggravated criminal damage regarding an incident that occurred on January 16, 2018.

At around 6:30 p.m., Bosley went to a victim’s residence in the 4800 block of Crowder Boulevard and reportedly set the victim's vehicle on fire, which was parked in the driveway near the front entrance of the victim's home. The victim told police she was then awakened by her neighbors about her vehicle being on fire. The victim was forced to evacuate her children from the front bedroom which was in close proximity of the burning vehicle. Neighbors in the area were also forced to evacuate their residence because of the burning vehicle.

Through the course of the investigation, officers discovered Bosley called the victim multiple times after the incident and admitted to the arson. He also threatened to return and burn down the victim's home. Officers were able to gather evidence and information that led to identifying and locating Bosley as the perpetrator in the incident.

He was arrested and booked accordingly into Central Lockup.
