Person and Vehicle of Interest Wanted for Questioning in Shooting on Royal Street

Person and Vehicle of Interest Wanted for Questioning in Shooting on  Royal Street

The NOPD Eighth District Detective Unit is seeking assistance from the public in locating a vehicle and locating and identifying the below pictured subject wanted as a person of interest in a double shooting that happened on Saturday (Jan. 6).

At around 4:15 a.m., Eighth District officers responded to an aggravated battery by shooting in the 100 block of Royal Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 57-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm and a 29-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

The pictured individual is not considered a suspect but is only considered a person of interest in this case. Investigators believe the person has valuable information regarding this shooting investigation. The vehicle of interest is a white 2003 Toyota Sequoia, Louisiana license plate number YKY 336.
