The NOPD is searching for three subjects in connection with the simple burglary of cars in the Fourth District.

On December 30, 2017, at approximately 1:45 a.m., three unknown subjects, dressed in hoodies concealing their identities, were captured pulling on door handles in the 2900 block of Sabine Street.

One of the subjects made entry in the victim's vehicle, but no property was taken.

Surveillance video of the incidents can be seen here and here.

The subjects are also linked to a simple burglary of a vehicle in the 2900 block of Potomac Street which is one block over, in which an unknown subject(s) made entry into the victim's vehicle, and removed the keys to a second vehicle.

The second vehicle (a 2015 black Nissan Altima) then was taken.

Anyone with information on the identity or whereabouts of the subjects is asked to contact Fourth District Detective Nicole Acala or any Fourth District detective at 504-658-6040, or call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll free at 1-877-903-7867.
