 Getaway Driver Wanted in Shooting Incident on Royal Street

Officers in the Eighth District are searching for Jordan David Theojan Mitchell (DOB: 11/05/94) in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in the 100 block of Royal Street.

The incident happened on January 6, 2017. At about 4:17 a.m., an Eighth District officer was flagged down by several bystanders at Royal and Iberville Streets. They told officers a man had been shot by someone in a vehicle.

Through the course of the investigation, Eighth District officers identified Mitchell as the getaway driver of a Toyota Sequoia following the aggravated battery by shooting incident.

Mitchell is wanted for two counts of principal to aggravated battery.
