NOPD Seeking Person of Interest in Homicide Investigation

The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in locating and identifying a subject sought for questioning in the ongoing investigation of a homicide on February 9, 2022 at the intersection of Old Gentilly and France roads.

The pictured unknown black male has been identified as a person of interest in this investigation. This subject is not wanted on criminal charges at this time. However, NOPD Homicide Unit detectives feel that he has knowledge of information vital to the investigation and wish to question him. The subject is known to frequent the 2200 and 2300 blocks of North Galvez Street and may also be utilizing the pictured vehicle.
