NOPD Identifies Suspect Wanted in Fifth District Aggravated Assault

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Kobe Johnson (pictured, male, DOB: 10-02-2002) in the investigation of an aggravated assault with a firearm incident on February 21, 2021 in the 1800 block of North Miro Street.

Through investigation, NOPD Fifth District detectives have determined that at about 2:00 p.m., the female victim was involved in a verbal altercation with Johnson and his girlfriend. A physical altercation ensued between the two females. During the altercation, Johnson is believed to have pointed a handgun and the victim and attempted to spit on her. A male victim intervened, at which time Johnson allegedly pointed the gun at the male victim before the victims fled.
