NOPD Arrests Suspect on Firearm, Drug Possession Charges in Seventh District

The NOPD arrested James Lee (pictured, DOB: 10-15-1991) on February 21, 2021 after he was found to be in possession of multiple weapons, illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

At about 11:15 a.m., NOPD Seventh District officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 4800 block of Crowder Boulevard. During the traffic stop, officers identified the driver as Lee. During a search of the vehicle, officers discovered and confiscated more than $1,600 in cash, multiple weapons, large quantities of marijuana, pre-rolled marijuana cigarettes, a digital scale and various edibles.

Lee was arrested and booked into the Orleans Parish Justice center for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm while in possession of a CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
