Persons of Interest Sought for Questioning in Homicide

The NOPD needs the public’s assistance identifying and locating a persons of interest in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on February 10, 2019 in the 100 block of South Claiborne Avenue.

First District officers responded to a call of an aggravated battery by shooting at or around 7:30 a.m.  Upon arrival, officers observed a black male subject lying under the bridge suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead on scene by EMS.

NOPD believes the person in the attached photo may have information about the incident. The individual is not wanted for the fatal shooting, he is only wanted for questioning.
