WANTED: Suspect Identified in Homicide on Ursulines Avenue

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Megan Hall (DOB: 09-17-1993) in the investigation into a homicide that occurred today (February 28, 2019) in the 1300 block of Ursulines Avenue.

Just before noon, NOPD First District officers responded to a call of an unclassified death at the location. Upon arrival, officers learned that staff at the location discovered an unknown white male subject lying in a bed and unresponsive. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. Upon further investigation, the incident was reclassified as a homicide by cutting.

Hall was initially sought as a person of interest for questioning in this investigation. However, as the investigation has progressed, NOPD Homicide Unit detectives positively identified Hall as the perpetrator in this incident.

An arrest warrant has been obtained for Hall on a charge of second degree murder.
