The NOPD is requesting assistance in locating and identifying a suspect seen in commission of an armed robbery in the 4600 block of General DeGaulle Drive on December 23, 2018.
At about 9:25 a.m., the pictured unknown black male, wearing a dark green hooded sweatshirt with “SAVAGE” written across the front and a scarf covering his nose and mouth, entered a store through the front door behind another customer. The male then forced the customer into the store, while simultaneously pointing the pistol at the cashier and the customer and demanding money and cigarettes. After the cashier complied, the subject fled the store.
