The NOPD arrested Nakeiah Offray (DOB: 09-29-1977) after he was found to be in illegal possession of a firearm while at the intersection of Iberville and Royal streets on February 2, 2019.
At about 4:54 p.m., NOPD Eighth District officers observed a male subject later identified as Offray carrying a concealed weapon at the intersection, after a brief foot pursuit. Offray was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun. After further research, officers discovered Offray to be a felon, having convicted of a burglary charge. The officers subsequently charged Offray with felon in possession of a firearm. Offray was transported to the Orleans Parish Justice Center and booked accordingly.
