Suspects Sought in Shoplifting, Simple Battery on Holiday Drive

Two unidentified subjects were captured on surveillance video in commission of a shoplifting at the Winn-Dixie supermarket at 3008 Holiday Drive on February 9, 2017. The NOPD is seeking assistance in identifying and locating these individuals.

At about 1:15 p.m., surveillance video captured the pictured unknown male and female enter the store together. The male subject was then seen concealing multiple packs of sausage in the underwear of his pants. When the subjects attempted to exit the store, the store’s manager confronted them. A physical altercation ensued, during which the female subject sprayed the manager and several store employees with pepper spray. The two then fled the scene in a black Dodge pickup truck. The store manager and clerks sustained injuries to the face from the pepper spray, with the manager also being injured during the physical altercation with the male subject.

When located, the subjects will be arrested and charged with shoplifting and simple battery.
