The NOPD needs the public’s assistance identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an attempted armed robbery.
The victim stated that on February 8, 2017 at approximately 8:30 p.m. she was approached at Pauger and North Derbigny streets by an unknown black male riding a lime-green bicycle. He produced a semiautomatic handgun and demanded her belongings but he fled the scene after the victim informed him she had no cash.
He is described as a black male in his mid-20s with a missing front tooth. He was wearing a tan knit cap, gray Dickies-style shirt and blue jeans. A computer-generated composite sketch of the suspect is included.
