The NOPD is investigating a homicide in the Fifth District.
At approximately 7:35 p.m. tonight (Feb. 15), officers responded to a call of an aggravated assault in the 1700 block of Touro Street. Upon arrival they discovered a 31-year-old black male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the front yard of a residence. He was transported to the hospital where he later died.
The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office releases victims’ names and the official cause of death.
