NOPD has taken two more guns off of the street.
On February 2, 2017, members of the NOPD Street Gang Unit conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Chef Menteur Highway and Dodt Street. The two occupants of the vehicle, Glen Draughter (DOB: 7-28-1992) and Raymond Lee (DOB: 10-11-1985), were each found to be in possession of firearms, which is a violation of their parole and probation.
Draughter was in possession of a Glock, Model 20, 10 millimeter firearm, and Lee was in possession of a Glock, Model 21, .45 caliber semi-automatic firearm.
Both firearms were confiscated and Draughter and Lee were arrested.
