Looters Arrested on Prentiss Drive

The NOPD has arrested two men for looting in the area damaged by last week’s tornado.

 

On February 12, 2017, Seventh District Sergeant Charles Love apprehended two individuals who were removing tools, lawn equipment, appliances and other items from a residence in the 11000 block of Prentiss Drive. The property owner arrived on the scene and identified property that had been removed from his residence and placed on the perpetrators’ trailer.

 

Sgt. Love then arrested the two men who are identified as Oliver Johnson (DOB: 2-14-1985) and Rashad Brown (DOB: 10-24-86).  

 

Johnson and Brown are charged with looting during a natural disaster, possession of stolen property and criminal trespass.
