The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in locating a person of interest in a homicide investigation.
Investigators want to talk with Archie Green, (pictured, black male DOB: 01-18-2005) in connection with a homicide by shooting that occurred on March 2, 2023 in the 1600 block Lesseps Street.
The victim was identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner as 14-year old Octavius Wells.
Green is not wanted for this homicide, but is simply sought for questioning as detectives believe he may have information pertinent to their investigation.
Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of of Archie Green is asked to contact the Homicide Unit at (504) 658-5300 or Crimestoppers anonymously at (504) 822-1111.
All persons are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty.
