NOPD Investigating Homicide in Fourth District

NOPD Investigating Homicide in Fourth District

Members of the New Orleans Police Department are investigating the apparent shooting death of a 43-year-old male.  The incident took place in the 6400 block of Isadore Street.         

At approximately 4:13 pm, Fourth District officers responded to a call of a male shot and upon their arrival, located the victim that was shot.           

Emergency medical technicians arrived on the scene and transported the victim to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.    

The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time. The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the victim and conduct an autopsy to determine the exact cause death.
