Suspects Sought in Fourth District Armed Carjacking

Suspects Sought in Fourth District Armed Carjacking

The NOPD is seeking assistance in identifying and locating two suspects in the investigation of an armed carjacking on December 15 in the 6300 block of Woodland Drive.

The victim was reportedly seated in their gray 1997 Buick Regal bearing Louisiana license plate OIP056 when they were approached from the rear by two unidentified black males (pictured), both armed with handguns. The suspect in the red hooded sweatshirt allegedly demanded the victim exit the vehicle. The victim complied. Both subjects entered the victim's vehicle and fled in the vehicle.

The suspect in the red hooded sweatshirt is further described as a black male, possibly in his mid-20s, slim build, clean shaved, and unknown hairstyle. The subject was about 5’8” to 5” 11” tall and about 130 pounds in weight, and in his mid-20’s. He was also said to be wearing blue jeans and red tennis shoes.

The second suspect is described as a black male, slim build and unknown hairstyle. The subject was about 5’8” to 5” 11” tall and about 130 plus pounds in weight. The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, and black tennis shoes.

The victim’s vehicle is further described as having tinted windows, damage to the rear driver’s side fender and a front license plate with a picture of a white dove.
