The NOPD has arrested Shamika Henry (pictured, female, DOB: 06-13-1997) in the investigation of a domestic aggravated assault on November 26, 2020 in the 3500 block of Garden Oaks Drive.
At about 8:15 p.m., the victim and a subject positively identified as Henry were allegedly involved in a verbal argument that turned physical. Henry then reportedly produced a handgun and pointed it at the victim while making threats before striking the victim with the firearm several times. Henry was later arrested by NOPD Fourth District officers.
Henry was transported to the Orleans Parish Justice Center, where was booked with one count of aggravated assault with a firearm and one count of domestic abuse battery.
