NOPD Arrests Suspect in Fourth District Aggravated Assault

The NOPD arrested Robert Estes (pictured, DOB: 04-12-1985) in the investigation of an aggravated assault with a firearm incident on December 13, 2020 in the 600 block of Leboeuf Street.

At approximately 5:28 p.m., the victim was in the 600 block of Leboeuf Street and inside of her vehicle when an unknown male subject – later positively identified as Estes – reportedly was driving a vehicle and pulled in front of the victim. Estes then allegedly opened his door, brandished a firearm and made verbal threat towards the victim before fleeing.

Estes and his vehicle were located by responding NOPD Fourth District officers. A search warrant was executed on the suspect vehicle, where a handgun was confiscated.

Estes was arrested and booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for aggravated assault with a firearm.
