The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Edwardlisha Raiford (DOB: 12-17-1994) also known as “Turtle”, for her alleged involvement in an aggravated assault incident that occurred on November 30, 2018.
Through investigation, NOPD Fifth District detectives learned that on November 30, 2018 at approximately 8:15 p.m., the victim was attacked by an individual later identified as Raiford. After allegedly striking the victim several times to the stomach, Raiford reportedly produced a handgun and pointed it at the victim. The victim was four months pregnant at the time of the incident.
Through intelligence gathering, Raiford was identified as a suspect in this incident and a warrant has been issued for her arrest.
Raiford was last seen wearing a purple shirt, black jacket and Timberland boots.
