NOPD Seeking Suspect in Theft on Alix Street

The NOPD is seeking to locate and identify an unknown male subject seen on video surveillance in connection with a theft on December 5, 2018 in the 200 block of Alix Street.

The victim was advised by a relative that an unknown male subject had reportedly entered the victim’s back yard and began tampering with locks on the victim’s bicycles. The victim then allegedly observed the relative and took a power saw and box of garbage bags from the residence and fled the scene on a bicycle.

The perpetrator is described as a dark complexioned black male wearing a light blue hooded jacket, dark pants and white shoes. The perpetrator fled the scene on a dark colored bicycle with one white-walled tire mounted on the front.
