NOPD Apprehends Suspect Wanted in Theft on Hebert Street

UPDATE: Makishia Jackson has been located and taken into custody by Fourth District detectives regarding this incident.

ORIGINAL RELEASE: The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Makishia Jackson (DOB: 12-16-1992) in the investigation of a theft incident that occurred in the 700 block of Hebert Street on November 29, 2018.

Through investigation, detectives determined that at about 9:41 a.m., Jackson – employed as a housekeeper at the location of the incident – allegedly entered into the victim’s guest room, ransacked the victim’s luggage and took cash that was located in the luggage.

When located, Jackson will be arrested for theft in connection with this inicident.
