NOPD Arrests Subject Wanted in Fourth District Shooting

The NOPD arrested a subject accused in a Fourth District shooting.

 

On December 22, 2018 around 4:12 p.m., the victim and the arrested subject, subsequently identified as Albert Morris (B/M DOB: 12/28/1996), became involved in a verbal argument that later became physical in the 800 block of Belleville Street.

 

During the altercation, Morris allegedly produced a firearm and fired once, striking the victim. Morris then reportedly entered a vehicle fled the location.

 

Morris was arrested without incident Sunday, December 23rd.
