ARRESTED: NOPD Quickly Apprehends Three Juvenile Subjects for Illegal Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Resisting an Officer

NOPD officers have arrested three juvenile subjects for illegal possession of a stolen vehicle and resisting an officer in the Seventh District.

The victim told police that on December 4, 2018, at or around 4:10 a.m., he went into a business located in the 11000 block of Hayne Boulevard and left his 2006 Chrysler 300 running with the keys inside.

While in the store, the victim reportedly observed an unknown black male subject backing his vehicle out the parking lot and driving off the property.

The same day, at or around 12:30 p.m., Seventh District officers responded to a call of a suspicious person removing rims from a vehicle in the 1400 block of Little Woods Drive.

As the officers approached the area, the subjects fled on foot. After a brief chase, all three subjects were apprehended. The subjects were transported to the Juvenile Detention Center, where they were booked with illegal possession of a stolen vehicle and resisting an officer.
