The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating a male subject wanted robbing a business on Elysian Fields.
At about 10:08 a.m., the above pictured male entered the business in the 6200 block of Elysian Fields Ave and demanded the cashier to give him all of the money in the register. The cashier told police instead they walked away from the register, and the male suspect then told another employee that he had a gun. The perpetrator then revealed the black handle of the handgun which was located on the left side of his waistband.
The suspect took off with $20 from the cash register and fled the location on foot toward Vermillion Street.
