NOPD Investigates Homicide on Odeon Street

NOPD Investigates Homicide on Odeon Street

The NOPD is investigating a homicide in the 1000 block of Odeon Street today (Dec. 19).

Fourth District officers received a call of shots fired in the area just after 5 p.m. Upon arrival, officers observed one adult male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene by EMS.

A dark-colored vehicle fled the scene heading toward General Degaulle.

Investigators are in the process of gathering evidence and information to identify the person(s) involved in this incident, as well as a motive.
