NOPD Eighth District detectives are looking for assistance from citizens in identifying and locating two unknown black males believed to be responsible for an auto theft in the 1600 block of Pauger Street on December 2, 2016.
At about 1:40 a.m., surveillance video captured two suspects stealing a tan 2015 Nissan Sentra car from the location. The vehicle bears Louisiana license plate #ZFS913.Detectives learned the vehicle had been left unlocked with a spare key inside.
Video shows the first suspect enter the vehicle, start the engine, and drive away heading south on Pauger Street. The second suspect is seen running from the vehicle before waiting for the first suspect to arrive at a nearby corner, where the second suspect then entered the vehicle and the two fled the scene.
