Suspects Sought for Armed Robbery on South Robertson

Suspects Sought for Armed Robbery on South Robertson

The NOPD is looking for two suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery on South Robertson Street.

 

The victims reported that on December 9, 2016, at approximately 1:30 a.m., they were sitting on the curb in the 6300 block of South Robertson when two unknown black males engaged them in conversation. One of the males produced a small silver semi-automatic pistol and ordered the victims to empty their pockets. The victims complied and the unarmed male proceeded to retrieve their property. The two suspects then fled on foot.

 

Both suspects are described as being black males, 23 -25 years old, and wearing dark baggy hoodies.

Armed Robbery

In Louisiana, an armed robbery conviction requires the offender to be imprisoned at hard labor for 10 – 99 years, without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. When a firearm is used in the commission of the crime, the offender will be imprisoned for an additional 5 years that will be served consecutively to the original sentence.
