Suspects in Business Burglary on South Claiborne Avenue Caught on Video

Two suspects were caught on surveillance video in a business burglary that occurred on December 18, 2016 in the 4100 block of South Claiborne Avenue. The NOPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the suspects.

At about 8 a.m., an employee of CCNO-Classic Construction, located at 4127 South Claiborne Avenue, arrived to the office and discovered that a television was missing from the conference room, along with an Apple TV remote control. In checking the facility, the employee found one of the rear doors was unlocked and left slightly ajar and that drawers to at least five desks had been opened.

Detectives searched the scene and found evidence leading them to believe that someone had entered the facility and removed the TV from a wall. A review of surveillance video showed two unidentified subjects illegally enter the building at about 6:15 a.m. and later exit the building with a television in hand.

Photos of the two individuals captured from surveillance video are included with this release.

Anyone with information regarding the identities of the suspects or information regarding this incident is asked to contact Second District detectives at 504-658-6020. Citizens with information that can help solve crimes are asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
