Suspect Wanted for Burglarizing Home on South Jeff Davis Parkway

Second District officers are looking to identify and locate a male suspect after he reportedly took a woman’s wallet from her home.

The incident happened on December 17, 2016. At around 8:15 p.m., the victim left her residence in the 1300 block of South Jeff Davis Parkway to take out the trash.   When she returned to her apartment, she noticed the front door ajar with a cell phone wedged between the door and the frame. The victim told police she then noticed an unknown black male approaching her claiming that he dropped his phone.

The victim said she then questioned the subject about how his phone managed to open the door. At that time, the subject was seen running in an unknown location after retrieving his cell phone. The next day at around 11:30 a.m., the victim discovered her wallet missing from her purse.
