NOPD Eighth District Officers celebrated the holidays with students from KIPP McDonogh 15 on Friday (Dec. 9) in the most New Orleans way possible, with a second line.
Led by a brass band, more than 70 first graders paraded down Royal Street to the Eighth District station to meet with officers, decorate the district's Christmas tree and of course, have cookies and milk with Santa.
The annual event is sponsored by French Quarter Festivals, Inc.
