The NOPD is searching for a 2008, tan Ford Focus that was taken from Tulane Avenue.
The incident happened on December 1, 2016. At around 6:10 p.m., the victim told police he went to get gas at the 24/7 Discount store in the 1600 block of Tulane Avenue. After pumping gas in the vehicle, the victim stated he left his keys in the ignition and decided to go back into the store to buy something to drink. While walking back outside, the victim spotted someone pulling off in his vehicle. The victim told police he then went back inside to view surveillance video. The victim stated seeing a unknown black male wearing an orange pull over hoodie and dark blue jeans getting into his vehicle.
The vehicle has a Louisiana license plate number of WLL667. A photo of the actual vehicle can be seen below.
