NOPD Identifies Suspect in Shooting on Tullis Drive

NOPD has identified a suspect in a shooting that took place on Tullis Drive.

 

Shortly after 1 p.m. on November 18, 2016, officers responded to a call of a shooting in the 5900 block of Tullis Drive. Upon arrival they discovered a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to University Medical Center.

 

Witnesses told investigators they heard gunshots and then saw the victim running toward the location, where he collapsed. During the investigation, detectives developed Christopher Butler (DOB: 5-15-1989) as a suspect, and he was positively identified as one of the perpetrators involved in the incident.

 

An arrest warrant has been issued for Christopher Butler for attempted second degree murder and intimidating, impeding, or injuring witnesses.
