The NOPD is looking for help identifying a subject wanted in connection with an auto burglary in the Eighth District.
On August 25, 2023 at about 4:30 a.m. the victim left their car running in the 500 block of Canal Street.
The pictured subject jumped in and attempted to steal the vehicle, but was unable to get the vehicle into gear. Instead, he fled with the victim's bag which was left on the front seat.
