Suspect Sought by NOPD in Second District Burglary Incident

The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in locating and identifying a suspect in the investigation of a vehicle burglary and business burglary incident that occurred on August 2, 2022. in the 2700 block of Napoleon Avenue.

At approximately 2:19 a.m.  on August 2, the pictured unknown male subject arrived on foot to the location and entered a parking garage. The subject is observed via video surveillance to be checking door handles of vehicles on each floor of the parking garage. The subject successfully made entry into two vehicles utilizing a pry bar. The subject then made entry into a part of the business that was closed and locked and was observed breaking into vending machines.

The subject is described as a black male with a light complexion, bald head, black/gray beard. He was seen wearing the pictured clothing, a silver chain with a cross pendant and black Nike shoes.
