Suspects Wanted for Simple Robbery on Royal Street

The NOPD is seeking assistance in locating the pictured subjects after they were accused of committing a simple robbery in the 400 block of Royal Street.

The victim told police that at or around 4:30 a.m. on August 4, 2018, she was approached by an unknown male subject who attempted to purchase a sexual act from her, at which time the victim and the subject engaged in a verbal altercation. The victim was approached by a second unknown male subject who allegedly touched her buttocks area and punched her in the jaw, causing her to fall to the ground. The victim reportedly dropped her cellphone after she was struck by the subject. One of the subjects reportedly removed the victim’s cellphone from the ground before fleeing the location, heading toward Canal Street.

The subjects are described as approximately 6’0 tall, dark complexion and appears to be in their mid-20s.
