NOPD Seeking Person of Interest in Shooting on Tennessee Street

NOPD Seeking Person of Interest in Shooting on Tennessee Street
The NOPD is seeking to speak with Willie “Six” Andrews, who is a person of interest in the investigation of a shooting which occurred on August 5, 2018 in the 1800 block of Tennessee Street and is also wanted on a related charge to the incident.
 
At approximately 11:40 p.m., the victim was shot in the jaw and upper chest by an unknown perpetrator in a passing car.
 
Andrews is not wanted as the perpetrator in this investigation. However, he is believed to have been with the victim at the time of the incident and is also believed to have returned fire with a pistol. Andrews has not cooperated with the investigation. Detectives feel he may have knowledge of information pertinent to the investigation.
 
A warrant has been issued for Andrews’ arrest for felon in possession of a firearm.
 
Andrews is described as a black male standing about 6’4” and weighing about 200 pounds with noticeable tattoos around his neck.
