The NOPD is seeking assistance in identifying and locating two subjects who are wanted in connection with an attempted auto burglary that occurred at or around 12:47 a.m. on August 3, 2018.

Officers reviewed surveillance video and observed an unknown male and female subject walking on the side walk as they approached the victim’s vehicle that was located in the 7600 block of Symmes Avenue. The male subject approached the victim’s vehicle and pulled on the rear driver’s door handle while the female subject remained on the sidewalk. After an unsuccessful attempt of opening the vehicle’s door, the subjects fled the location.

The male subject is described as thin build with a short haircut and was wearing a short-sleeved dark-colored shirt, light-colored jeans, white socks and black and white flip flops. The female subject was wearing a dark-colored dress with a light-colored hat.

Anyone with any information regarding the subjects’ whereabouts is asked to notify Seventh District detectives at 504-658-6070. Citizens with information that can help solve crimes are asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
